Standard of Service!

I visited the Waffle House near Southlake Mall and wow the egg/sausage sandwich tastes as good there as other locations. They got it together!

New PepperJack specials!

I tried the "PepperJack" chicken melt today! Very good. Kim, my waitress greeted me with a huge smile and took the time to explain the "Manager's" special pricing for the new featured "PepperJack" items at Waffle House.

A place to be seen!

Waffle House is not only a great place to eat but over the years I have noticed many people visit their favorite location to be seen and see others! Some are ones looking for interaction with their favorite waitress while others enjoy the morning conversations at the counter. Whatever your reason for visiting, WH is a great restaurant to begin or end your day!

Now that is a SALAD!

Hit the WH at I-85 and 74 Highway today. I believe it was "Marsha" who created this masterpiece: A GRILLED CHICKEN SALAD! That was the best salad I have ever had at a Waffle House. You can really tell when they care about what they are serving!

BMW 328i convertible at the WH!

I saw what I feel is the best looking vehicle on the road this morning while enjoying a BLT at Waffle House. The place appeals to all income levels. The food is just good!

Pie Dish on the Counter!

I was actually thinking the other day about why WH took the pie dish off the counter tops? Rally for the come back of the counter top pie dish! Why is it that all the restaurants have to change the "nostalgia"? Bring back the cool stools too! For that matter bring back the $1.50 Filet Mignon. Yeeppee!

Snow and Waffle House; Now that's a Combo!

Nothing tastes better on a snowy day than two eggs, hashbrowns, bacon and toast at Waffle House! You can count on WH to be open no matter what comes our way: SNOW, SLEET, HAIL, TORNADO or RAIN! You can count on the Great American Diner!

Great Value!

Ate at one of the South Atlanta Waffle Houses for breakfast. I had the All Star breakfast including drink for $4.99! What a great value! Look at the "Manager's Special" board when you enter each store to check out the specials.

Pork Chops and Applesauce!

Minus the Applesauce; Add Hashbrowns instead! I had the pork chop dinner today in south Fayetteville. Richard cooked them to perfection! The waitress had just made the salads so it was fresh with tomatoes, carrots, cabbage. The hashbrowns were golden brown and I really believe the pork chop dinner is probably the best meal on the menu!

Friendly, Friendly, Friendly!

I have been frequenting a few Waffle House locations in south Atlanta over the years and there is one waitress who always seems to follow me. Her name is "Trish" and she has always been a great waitress with time to always chat and see how my day is going! Thanks Trish for making the mornings a great start!

You can eat heart healthy at Waffle House!

Two poached eggs; don't eat the yolk, wheat toast, a couple bites of grits and unsweet tea. Does not sound that great but it is pretty healthy!

Waffle House Valentines!

While eating breakfast this morning the husband of one of the Waffle House waitresses came walking in with a large "heart" balloon, a box of candy and delivers it with a kiss to his wife who is a waitress at Waffle House. Then another waitress from the back comes into the dining area with a dozen red roses which the husband had delivered and asked to bring in while he was there. His wife smiled and gave him another kiss!

My favorite meal!

My favorite breakfast meal at Waffle House is fiesta omelette "old fashioned" hold the yolk, grits, wheat toast, unsweet tea. My favorite lunch is grilled chicken plate. My favorite dinner is pork chop dinner.

Try the Fiesta Omelette "Old Fashioned" style! It is delicious.

Educate yourself at Waffle House!

Today I had breakfast at WH and was able to meet a territory manager for a large food distributor. I learned a great deal about that industry speaking with this gentleman during breakfast. It is very interesting who you meet at WH. Name me another restaurant chain that provides as much opportunity to meet people and get to know them. Just about every chain has gone away from the counter service except WH. The seating arrangement creates an environment for meeting people and communication. I have met very interesting people while eating at various locations. It is the great American Diner!

Saturday Treat!

Today was a good day with two eggs (soft scrambled), bacon, hashbrowns, toast, unsweet tea. It is hard sometimes to actually get "soft" scrambled eggs. The ones served this morning were perfect. Share your best meal at Waffle House!

Waffle House took over the ailing franchisee locations, saved over 3,000 jobs and obviously saved thousands of Waffle House Lovers from depression! Could you imagine 116 vacant Waffle House locations? That would be a depressing sight.

Thanks for the hard work all of the people working to keep the units open. That was a huge business challenge. I personally know what it is like to renew or renegogiate one lease; they had to deal with 60 individual Landlords. I believe all of this was done in less than three months. Great Work and thanks for keeping the yellow sign up and shining bright!
